It'll be really difficult to come across a Malayali who doesn't celebrate Onam. Onam is celebrated widely in Kerala, irrespective of religion.
I’m sure every Malayalee has a favourite Onam memory from their childhood. The “Sadya” or ‘sadhya' made during Onam season is a feast fit for a king (you can see why below with the number of dishes)! Onam season is a good time to visit Kerala, it will be a treat for your eyes and also for your taste buds.
Though I don't make a full fledged sadya, I try to make a mini sadya every year for Onam. I hope you find the chance to try out this ‘bumper' Onam Sadya list. Happy Onam! May this be a feast for all…
