Sometimes I get mails asking for a meal plan. Well, most of the time I myself have no idea about what I’m going to cook until I get into the kitchen and open my fridge and cupboards to see what’s there ;) I guess it’s because we don’t have a strict schedule to stick to, […]
Want to start a party, then try these snacks and party appetizers...
I guess, I’ve already told you that I look forward to starters and desserts in any party. I think the starters set the mood for any party.
Usually, when we go out for Buffet dinner, I feel guilty. I hardly eat anything apart from the few starters and desserts. Recently, we went to a Spanish restaurant here with friends. Since all the dishes sounded new to us, we opted for the set menu. they served around 12-15 sets of short eats, followed by dessert. To Jose’s and my surprise, I ate almost everything, apart from a raw fish and meat dish. I really enjoyed that meal.
My ideal dinner party is one which has many short eats and desserts with no main items as such ;) Honestly, I like to host such dinner parties too, but I’m not sure whether everybody likes it. What’s your take on that idea?
It’s a really tough choice for me to pick up my fav’s from this list. So I leave it to you… You go ahead and check out which ones you prefer.

I thought I’ll share another homemade evening snack recipe. During school days, the concept of “evening snack” or “nalumani palaharam” was something major. I still remember, by […]
Growing up I was always a chubby kid. I don’t ever remember Amma having any trouble to feed me or my brother, for that matter. She didn’t have to tell us stories or sing songs or show Kakka (crows) and Poocha (cats) to make us eat. Throughout my school days I was chubby. There are […]
