Mango Salad

  • 1 Ripe Mango
  • 5 Small / Pearl onion (sliced)
  • 2 Dry red chilli
  • 2 Green chilli (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Pudina / mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala
  • Salt


  • Cut the mango into small cubes.Mix all ingredients except chaat masala & mango. Add mango pieces to this & mix well. Keep in the fridge for half an hour. Sprinkle chaat masala over the salad before serving.

  1. Just wondering what this dish would go well with? Would it be best to eat it as a main or serve it with a curry?

      • Hi Maria,

        The other version for  Ripe Mango salad is :
        cush some small onions with chilllie flakes  and put it in a bowl and add the ripe mango and thick coconut milk and seasoing (salt) and crush with your fingers till everything is well mixed.
