Instant Oats Rava Idli

Here's a healthy and hearty breakfast recipe. Most of the time when we come across food which can be made instantly, there is a catch to it. It may be instant but may not be healthy. This is something which can be made instantly and at the same time it's healthy too.

Also, it's one of the ways to include oats in your diet, if you aren't a big fan of oats porridge.

Recommended side dishes: Sambar, Tomato Chutney, Red Coconut Chutney, Thenga Chammanthi

  1. Hello Maria!

I tried making the above recipe today. It came out okay and tasted good but i think it was a bit sticky. Is it supposed to be like that or is its texture exactly like the normal fermented idli?

Hope to see more instant recipes from you :D

    • Hi Lakshmi,

It’s texture is not like regular idli, but it’s not sticky. It’s very much similar to rava idli texture.

Will try to add more such recipes as and when I try them.

      Cheers

    Thank you so much…
next time will try with carrot and cashews, if i wake up early ;)
