      Though I havent tried this with any other fruit, google search tells me that you can make trifle pudding with strawberry, mango etc;

      Cheers

  1. Yes,Jose..it was by searching in the search box that i found out this one..because i remember seeing this in the blog some time back and wanted to check again..but could not find again in the recipe gallery …so searched for it as i remembered the name trifle..and i understood that it might have got missed when u guys redesigned the site..the recipe gallery is an important place since normal visitors go there and check often (wat if i had forgotten the term ‘trifle’?)…thus wanted to alert you…just like that

also, Maria..i have one doubt…shouldn’t the whipping cream be whipped?is it meant to be just poured over?

    • Hi Rose,

Thanks for pointing out that it wasnt listed in the recipe index. I guess Jose is working on it. I’m so sorry dear for the delayed reply, I’m on a small vacation now, hence I dont check the mails frequently. Hope you understand.

In this particular recipe, I havent whipped the cream and used it as such.

Hope you’ll like the pudding. Once again sorry for replying late :(

Wish you & your family a Merry Christmas!

      Cheers
      Maria

  2. Maria,it seems ur Recipe Gallery does not have this dish presented. Please check again. Also check whether any dishes are missing from the Recipe Gallery list.

    • Rose, thanks for pointing that out… this recipe was posted a very long while ago… so some of the images dont appear on the recipe gallery. Will try to fix it…

  3. hi maria
i would like to try this recipe.
is it ok to use tinned pineapple? if yes do we hv to cook it in the sugar syrup.

    • Hi Roshna,

You can use tinned pineapple. Instead of adding sugar may be you can pour the syrup from the tin and cook the pineapple in that. Do a taste check and see whether the sweetness is ok and add sugar if its required.

      Hope you will like it.

      Cheers
      Maria
