Here is something simple that you can really whip up for Valentine's day. Honestly, we are not into Valentines day, but if you can use it as an excuse to eat something sweet, go for it. What do you say?
I've been eyeing this Mug Cake recipe for so long. The only reason I was hesitant to try it was… I was scared it would be too good and it becomes a habit! I've a tendency to get addicted / overdo things, now you know why I was keeping away from it.
Well, it's going to be a tough battle! The recipe is so easy and quick and it's eggless too. All you need is a Microwave and some everyday ingredients, you are good to go. The end result is too good for the effort you put in. So, if you are in a mood for something sweet, but dont want to work so much, here is your answer! The cake is really moist and soft and add a scoop of your fav ice cream, you've a fab dessert!
If you prefer a gooey fudgy texture, reduce the cooking time (refer notes). Make sure you read the notes section carefully before trying out this recipe.
Happy Valentine's Day! Spread the love :)

Here is the recipe…
In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients…
Whisk in the milk and vegetable oil until all ingredients are combined and batter has no clumps…
Pour batter into a microwave-safe mug. I used a mug which is approx 1 1/4 cups. You want enough head space for the cake to rise without pouring over.
Add 1 tbsp. of hazelnut chocolate spread (Nutella) / Peanut Butter in the middle of the batter. Just drop it in the middle, no need to push it down and sink it in the batter.
Place a paper towel into the microwave and set the mug on top (this is to catch any batter if your mug cake overflows).
Microwave mug cake for 70 seconds on high (PLEASE READ NOTES CAREFULLY BELOW)…

Hi Maria
Nice and easy recipe. But i baked it for 15 mins at 180degrees since i prefer that over microwave cooking. Made it twice already.
Thank you
