One of my all time fav Mutton Recipes. I think this is the recipe that made me like mutton for the first time. It's one of the famous recipes of my mother in law. I do hope you will also enjoy this recipe.

thank u…
geethu biju..
hi maria,
thnx for the recipe. well… i didnt come as colorful as urs but not bad for my first attempt (this is my second dish by myself :) ). but it does taste good. by the way, hw much water shud i add? – i added enough to cover the mutton and a bit more. and then waited for it dry up (in lowest flame).
i am yet to go thru ur rest of the recipes; but do u hv anything simple for a bachelor away from kerala can cook ? that would be a real blessing.
dont know when i can taste my mom’s.
Hi Adarsh
Thanks for trying out the recipe. You can add 3/4 – 1 cup water for 1 kg mutton, if you are pressure cooking it. If you are using stove top method, use the same qty but if it tends to stick to the bottom add some more water. For the colour, I roast it well, that gives the colour I think.
I’ve picked some recipes on the basis of its simplicity. Please go through this, hope it helps.
