Make the best butter garlic pasta with mushrooms in under 30 minutes! This easy spaghetti recipe is rich, creamy with parmesan, and packed with garlicky flavor—perfect for quick weeknight dinners or cozy meals at home.
Once the onion starts browning, add minced garlic. Cook for 4-5 mins, till the raw smell goes.
Add pepper powder, red chilli flakes and oregano seasoning. Cook for 1-2 mins.
Add 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, grated cheese cubes and 1 cup of pasta water. Bring it to boil.
Add the cooked spaghetti and reduce the flame to the lowest. Cook till the spaghetti is coated well with the sauce.
You can add more pasta water, if you prefer more sauce. Check the seasoning and adjust accordingly.
Transfer to the serving dish and sprinkle the 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, chopped parsley and chilli oil/crisp (if using).
Notes
You can add any veggies like mushroom, capsicum or broccoli or cooked chicken, beef, prawns etc;I added cooked mushrooms. I used 200 gms of mushrooms for the above measurements. I added the cooked mushrooms along with the spaghetti.You can use same qty of cheese slices instead of cheese cubes. You can also garnish the pasta with fried garlic, if you like.
