Cud u please tell me how to prepare mutton stock?

    • http://www.mariasmenu.com Maria

      Hi Nasreen,

When you pressure cook mutton add some water also. When the mutton is cooked strain the mutton and other vegetables, the remaining gravy is the mutton stock.

      Cheers

Hope you had a wonderful Easter. Sorry for the delayed reply dear. I was a bit busy lately.

Dont worry about the cooking too much. Once you start cooking, you will get an idea about it. For breakfast you can make appam with egg roast/veg stew/chicken stew/ beef curry, Idiyappam with all those curries, Puttu with kadala, dosa/idly with sambar. There are so many varieties.

Lunch also there are so many recipes, keep checking different blogs, am sure you will find many good recipes and you will be spoilt with choice :)

Please try to do cooking with a happy mind, that helps a lot :)

      All the best!

this pic truly made my mouth water

  • arjun

That was the yummiest mutton stew ever. The cornflour is a great idea to get the required consistency. Will it work in the other curry recipes too?The stew, though mild,is flavorful and goes well even with rice.

    • http://www.mariasmenu.com Maria

      Hi Arjun,

Thank you so much. Great to know that you liked the stew.

You can add cornflour to thicken the gravy or another option is to add cashew paste. It will make the gravy richer & tastier. To make cashew paste, soak some cashew in hot water for 10 mins and grind it to a smooth paste. Add to the curry in the final stages of cooking.

Please do try other recipes also…

      Cheers
      Maria
